Part of a 35-room resort property, what struck me immediately was the fact that this was such a rare site that whilst in the pool. You had a view of the river meeting the waves of the ocean and merging into one giant water body, the inspiration for the design came from this fluidity!
We had just 2 months to put this space together, so we decided to keep the bones of the space intact and gut the rest of it.
The client always had an all-white theme in his mind and left the rest to us. Being a new addition to his Kolkata flagship, Fenicia Goa had to be on extension of the luxury feel we brought to the original. But it had to be the “Goa” version of it! Cozy, large pieces of furniture offset with detailed accessories & layers of fabric & various textures bring the style factor to this space!
The Stone bar with the gold central focal light fitting is a reference to the original gold “Fenicia” sculpture from Kolkata which also finds its place by the pool side here in Goa.
The lush greenery added only makes for a space that is perfect to kick your feet up and grab a drink or hookah and relax in the calm surrounding of South Goa!
