Hotel Asansol International
I always say when you’re a consultant, you can go where the wind takes you!!! This time the wind landed us into the quaint little town of Asansol, about 3 hours from Kolkata.
A 50 room hotel renovation project in which we created multiple small banquet spaces, an all day dining, a bar, a sizeable entry and deli experience and a small gym and pool too! The exterior facade was also given a face lift to give the hotel a distinguished look and make it pop out from the main road that leads to the Asansol Steel Plant!!

All the art and craft, be it the canvas paintings on the walls or the life size ‘knight in shining armour’ are sourced from artists local to West Bengal.
We decided to make it a more fun space adding elements of West Bengal and it’s music and art. The infusion of these elements brought to life an otherwise drab load bearing structure! The half-cut ambassador that turns into a deli in its bonnet, the peacock back chairs, the graphic flooring patterns, the trumpet lights, the mosaic buffet walls – all bring the ‘fun’ !!! The small travelers themed bar with its eclectic ideas also adds to the party !!!
