My Home – Visakhapatnam
Designing for yourself is always the most difficult thing to do in my personal experience! but one thing I was sure of when I was decorating my space were those emerald green walls. Something about that color spoke to me and excites me, it just feels SEXY!
Every element, every lamp, every artifact in my space, I made a promise to myself that it would have to SPARK JOY and I would collect overtime so there’s a story and a memory attached to every single piece!
The center table and the console were designed by me out of pieces of wood that we took from trees that fell in my home garden during a bad Cyclone that wiped out all the greenery in Vizag called HUD HUD.
All my lighting is Indirect or lamps. There are zero downlighters or direct lights in my Ceiling. I love this vibe.
The starkness of the bar counter is only enhanced when I am having a party and it’s styled in all its glory with the glassware and candles.
My balcony is just a haven of plants that I placed purposefully so you have to dodge through them to get to my chairs.
Bedroom had to be partially dramatic and very sexy! The freestanding pillars and the rustic floral fabric at the back of the bed.
The deconstructed chandelier- everything at home is a conversation piece in its own way! This chandelier I loved basically because it looks like a pretty black chandelier EXPLODED!
The mirror opposite to the main door is the perfect break to the green walls.
