In the rich tapestry of the Chinese language, “kai” embodies the spirit of opening doors; it also represents the initiation of new beginnings and experiences. This concept resonates deeply with the ethos of our new restaurant, where every dish is a gateway to the diverse flavours of Asian and pan-Asian cuisine.

The space embodies a new age vibe that’s chic, colorful and fun, yet inherently derived from Asian influences. The entrance sets the tone with the mixture of textures of rosewood, stone and black oak along with elements of art with the marble birds. Right from the rosewood polishes to the infusion of the deep reds that are auspicious colors, the restaurant is draped in rich layers of texture. The flooring is thought out carefully as a backdrop with a grey marble texture and a patterned floor to offset. The furniture is full of statement pieces upholstered in plain and textured velvet fabrics with one stand out piece that stands tall for people to sit and take pictures on.

Custom wallpapers bring the fun and arty element to the space and our piece de resistance are the four custom made richly embroidered fabric art pieces that adorn the walls. The central ceiling glass installation is again custom made to the space with the blown glass adding a fresh take on traditional Asian motifs.
